Whitehorse, Yukon – On the eve of the 52nd Annual Yukon Geoscience Forum & Trade Show, the Yukon Chamber of Mines staff, Board of Directors and volunteer organizing committee look forward to gathering and sharing both the successes and challenges the territory’s exploration and mining industry has faced over the past year.
Taking place at the Kwanlin Dün Cultural Centre from November 17 to 20, over 600 delegates and exhibitors will come together to reflect upon the year that was and connect about the future of the industry.
New with 2024’s event includes several opportunities for the public to participate without having to purchase a Forum delegate pass, as the Yukon Chamber of Mines works to help Yukoners learn more about how exploration and mining contributes to their lives and their livelihoods.

Canada Games Centre – Whitehorse

“Ensuring that exploration and mineral development in the Yukon is undertaken responsibly and that the significant benefits and opportunities mining provides Yukoners are better understood is key to what we do every day here at the Yukon Chamber of Mines,” says President Loralee Johnstone.
“Our Annual Yukon Geoscience Forum and Trade Show allows us to highlight our industry’s achievements and acknowledge the innovative technologies and relationships that are in practice and aligned with our common goal of meeting global demand for Yukon critical minerals,” says Executive Director Jonas Smith. “We look forward to celebrating the people who are the strength of our industry and who work to make us a true leader on the world stage.”
